ChallengeT v Tallinne

25. Európsky veľtrh študentských spoločností JA – YE, Europe Company Competition organizovalo Estónsko v hlavnom meste Tallinn 22. - 25. júla 2014. Tejto akcie sa zúčastnilo 38 štátov. Veľtrh slávnostne otváral minister školstva Estónska, záverečný galavečer bol v réžii estónskeho premiéra Taavi Roivasa. Z celého veľtrhu počas troch dní bolo zabezpečené online televízne vysielanie, čo len dokazuje aký dôraz dal estónsky organizátor na celý priebeh veľtrhu.
Aj tento rok Junior Achievement Slovensko n.o. vyslala slovenský tím, ktorý tvorili žiaci a učiteľ z Evanjelického gymnázia v Tisovci, zo študentskej spoločnosti Challenge T. Tento tím získal nomináciu reprezentovať Slovenskú republiku na základe výsledkov národného veľtrhu.
Súťaž bola rozdelená na tri časti. Prvou bola prezentácia na pódiu, v koncertnej hale pred cca 400 účastníkmi a porotou. Tu bol priestor počas 4 minút predstaviť projekt Unlimited, ktorý bol zameraný na zdravý životný štýl a pozostával z fitness parku, ktorý bol vybudovaný pri Evanjelickom gymnáziu v Tisovci, knihy Unlimited, Zdravie bez hraníc a Unlimited Klubu.
Druhá časť bola zameraná na 12 min. rozhovor s odbornou porotou. Tu museli odpovedať žiaci na všetky otázky ohľadom projektu, jeho financovania, udržateľnosti, cieľov a vízie.
Tretia časť bola samotná prezentácia v stánku, počas celého dňa. Úlohou bolo prezentovať celý projekt, zaujať odbornú porotu a verejnosť. Myšlienka vybudovať fitness park a zámer motivovať ľudí k lepšiemu a zdravšiemu životnému štýlu zaujala.
Patrícia Dachová nám povedala:
"Najväčším prínosom z účasti na veľtrhu pre mňa bola zodpovednosť reprezentovať nielen našu školu, Tisovec ale aj celé Slovensko. Bola to pre mňa veľká skúška do života, či som schopná pracovať pod tlakom a súťažiť s mladými ľuďmi z celej Európy. Myslím si, že sme sa na veľtrh pripravili veľmi dobre, iným spôsobom by som neurobila nič, pretože sme urobili všetko pre to, aby sme reprezentovali čo najlepšie.“
Linda Csolleová, druhá z tímu ChallengeT, nám povedala:
"V Tallinne som sa cítila veľmi dobre. Tallinn je veľmi pekné mesto a Estónci sú priateľskí, ústretoví a musím povedať, že na mňa urobili dojem, pretože počas celého pobytu sa mi nestalo, že by som s nimi mala jediný problém, naopak ma stále prekvapovali svojou ústretovosťou, dobrou náladou a ochotou. Na druhej strane boli však veľmi profesionálni a celú akciu zvládli na výbornú. Páčilo sa mi tam snáď všetko čo pre nás pripravili. Musím pochváliť kreatívnosť pri vyberaní miest pre recepcie, pretože každé jedno bolo neskutočne originálne a dýchalo atmosférou."
Počas galavečera prebehlo aj slávnostné vyhlásenie výsledkov. Víťazom v hlavnej kategórii sa stala študentská spoločnosť z Islandu. Nás mimoriadne potešilo ocenenie, ktoré získala Diana Lapajová. Cena Alumni Leadership Award je ocenením jej celoročnej práce pre študentskú spoločnosť, jej prínos a výrazný podiel v prípravách na veľtrh a prác s celým projektom Umlimited.
Diana nám povedala: "Bol to úžasný pocit, keď moderátor vyhlásil moje meno a Slovensko. Som hrdá na to, čo sme dosiahli. Som hrdá na celú študentskú spoločnosť Challenge T, mojich spolužiakov, bez ktorých by sa nám náš projekt nepodaril zrealizovať. Chcem poďakovať našej škole, Evanjelickému gymnáziu a organizácii Junior Achievement Slovensko n.o., bez ktorých, by sme neboli tam, kde sme."

Čo povedať na záver? Bol to veľký prínos nielen pre mňa, ale aj pre moje žiačky. Mali možnosť porovnať sa a priamo sa konfrontovať pri prezentáciách s rovestníkmi z iných štátov. Získali cenné skúsenosti. Teší ma aj ocenenie pri Dianu, lebo si to úplne zaslúžila. Ten projekt bude pravdepodobne pokračovať stretnutím ocenených žiakov v Bruseli.

ChallengeT in Tallinn

The 25st JA - YE Europe competition of the student companies was organized by Estonia in its capital Tallinn on July 22-25, 2014. This event was attended by 38 states. The fair was opened by Minister of Education of Estonia, the final gala was managed by Estonian Prime Minister Taavi Roivas. For the three days of the fair duration an online telecast was offered, which just showed how great emphasis put Estonian organizer on the whole event.
This year Junior Achievement Slovakia N. O. sent Slovak team, which consisted of the students and a teacher from the Lutheran High School in Tisovec, the student company ChallengeT. This team was nominated to represent the Slovak Republic on the basis of its results at the national fair.
The competition was divided into three parts. The first one was the presentation on stage in a concert hall in front of about 400 participants and jury. Here was an opportunity to introduce for 4 minutes the project Unlimited, which focuses on healthy lifestyle and fitness consisted of a fitness park, which was built in the Lutheran High School in Tisovec, of the books Unlimited, Health Without Borders and Unlimited Club.
The second part was focused on 12 minutes interview with the jury. Here the students had to answer all the questions about the project, its financing, sustainability goals and vision.
The third part was the presentation itself in the tent during the day. The task was to present the project, to capture a jury and the public. The idea to build a fitness park and the intention to motivate people to a better and healthier lifestyle interested.
Patricia Dachová told us: "For me, the most important of a participation in the fair was the responsibility to represent not only our school, but the whole Tisovec and Slovakia. It was a great test, whether I am able to work under pressure and to compete with young people from all over Europe. I think we were prepared to the fair very well, we did the best we could do."
Linda Csölleová, the second member of the team ChallengeT, told us:
"In Tallinn, I felt very well. Tallinn is a very nice city and Estonians are friendly, welcoming and I must say, that I am impressed, because during the entire stay I had no problem with the organizers, still surprised by their helpfulness, good humor and willingness. On the other hand, however, they were very professional and the whole event was very successful with the flying colors. I liked everything prepared for us. I must commend the creativity when selecting locations for receptions, because each one was incredibly original, with the special atmosphere."
Gala took place during the ceremony. The winner in the main category became the student company from Iceland. We were very pleased by an award to Diana Lapajová. The prize Alumni Leadership Award is the appreciation of her year's work for the student company, her benefits and considerable interest in the preparations for the fair and work with the entire project Umlimited.
Diana told us: "It was an amazing feeling when presenter announced my name and Slovakia. I am proud of what we have achieved. I am proud of the whole company ChallengeT, my classmates, which we would not succeed in our project without. I want to thank our school, organization Junior Achievement Slovakia, without which we would not be where we are."

What to say at the end ? It was a great benefit not only for me but also for my students - girls. We had the opportunity to compare and directly confront the presentations with the coevals from other countries. We gained valuable experience. I also welcome the award for Diana, she has totally deserved it. That project will likely continue with the meeting of the awarded students in Brussels.
